Communication is what we usually enjoy a lot. Recently, the most part of our communication is online due to a number of social networks and similar applications. You can message your friends through Whatsapp, post and like photos on Instagram and Snapchat, have videochats in Skype and do all this together on Facebook.   • Have a Weekend without the Social Media

    Taking a break is what really works when you are overwhelmed with the information which you get online. It is clear that nowadays it would be hard to stay without at least Facebook account at all, as sometimes you may need it to stay up-to-date of the important events from your friend’s life or for getting the information that interests you. Banning yourself from using all your accounts for minimum a weekend is definitely possible. So, take a break from checking a newsfeed and have some rest with your beloved ones.

    When you think that your weekend break was wonderful you can try to make it longer and stay offline for a few days more.

  • Remember Other Things You Enjoy

    Do you remember your life without social networks? What did you use to do before you`ve got accounts on the Snapchat and Tweeter? Every person has a talent or a thing, what he or she is good at. There must be activities that you can really enjoy, like painting, singing, playing music or going into sports. Try to get involved into them and you will not have too much time for checking every post of your friends online.

    Even if you are sure that you are not good at anything you can just try doing different things. Maybe, you will find what your talent is or just have some fun.

  • Do Some Reading

    A lot of students do not enjoy reading a lot as it is associated with school, college and studying. However, your can do reading that is not compulsory. What we mean is that there are a hundreds of books, magazines and articles, which will be not only interesting, but useful for you as well. Therefore, you will be able to learn a lot of new things, improve your writing and enlarge your lexicon. After reading some articles you will have what to speak about with your friends. A good book can become your source of inspiration.

  • Set the Time Frames for Your Social Networks Usage

    If you think you spend too much time online, try to set some time limits for it. For example, you can allow yourself to chat in Facebook online one hour per day. Make sure that you control every minute after you logged in to your page, this will help you to make this plan happen. If it is hard for you, try setting your alarm clock for certain period of time using the social networks. Also, you can make a rule of checking your accounts only once or twice per day.
